KidScenes is committed to our Kid Events and conscientious about the care provided for its family programs. Caregivers are carefully selected and undergo:  Telephone and personal interviews: Security checks: police clearances and child welfare checks; orientations; supervision, support, mentorship and on the job training.

KidScenes pays caregivers, room supervisors and program managers a fair wage which exceeds a living wage.  We have made a commitment to involve our community resources and engaging young men and women in their leadership development.  Many of our caregivers go onto to careers in the workforce as:  social workers, community workers; public service workers in health and education; and managers.  We will often encourage workers to go onto manage KidScenes programs.  Some of our caregivers are mature women, who have given to their families and communities all their lives and continue to do so through Kid Events and KidScenes individual care programs in their communities.
